The client wanted a proactive succession-planning initiative to build relationships with future CIO-calibre leaders across the market. The objective was to create an informal forum for market insight, mentoring, and early-stage talent pipelining.
Approach:
- Mapped and engaged candidates capable of stepping into a CIO role within two time horizons: 0–18 months and 3–5 years.
- Delivered a curated longlist and facilitated introductions to 5 candidates from each bracket.
- Supported structured but informal networking conversations focused on market trends, leadership challenges and peer mentoring.
Outcome:
The client selected 3 individuals for an ongoing networking and mentoring relationship, strengthening its leadership bench and long-term succession pipeline.

Following multiple cyber incidents, the organisation required an Interim CISO to stabilise the environment, provide assurance, and strengthen cyber resilience while a permanent hire was identified.
Approach:
- Secured an immediate interim leader with deep incident management and assurance experience.
- Interim delivered a cyber strategy roadmap, including operating model, resourcing, budget planning and governance uplift.
- Ran a parallel executive search for the permanent CISO.
Outcome:
Hired a permanent CISO from an industrials/infrastructure background; knowledge transfer was completed seamlessly with the interim to ensure continuity.
